Residents of Camp Venice RV Resort, holding valid 2025 leases expiring December 31, paid full rent on August 1, 2025.  Residents got a surprise email on August 5, 2025 reading  

To All Campers and Other Residents-

This is to advise you that Camp Venice will be closing for the foreseeable future on September 5, 2025. Please make sure that all your personal  property is removed from the Park on or before that date. In addition,  the Park will stop accepting and sorting mail from USPS on August 13.  Please make arrangements for your mail to be delivered elsewhere.

It  is important to note that the entry gates will be locked and services  such as water and electric will not be provided beyond September 5.   Please contact the office with any questions.

What office? Residents report that not only is the front office closed, the pool is no longer being maintained. It is a breeding ground for mosquitos.
